Bolt vs Volt: Chevy’s electrified models explained

Chevrolet’s two electrified models sound a lot alike, but they’re completely different. Bolt is an all-electric car, powered exclusively by electricity, while Volt is a plug-in hybrid car equipped with a four-cylinder petrol engine that takes over when the battery runs out of electricity.
